1. No guarantee of repairability. Submitting a card does not guarantee that any restoration work can be performed. Each card is assessed individually upon receipt by Cappy's Card Lab. If the damage is outside the scope of our services (including but not limited to ink loss / whitening, holo chipping, structural tears, or paper loss), we will notify you and return the card unworked at your expense.

2. No guarantee of grading improvement. Restoration work performed by Cappy's Card Lab does not guarantee any improvement in professional grading scores (PSA, BGS, CGC, ACE, or any other grading service). Grading outcomes depend on many variables outside our control. Cappy's Card Lab makes no representation, express or implied, that any work performed will result in a higher grade, increased monetary value, or improved marketability of the card.

3. Risk of condition change. You acknowledge and agree that restoration work involves inherent risk. While Cappy's Card Lab takes all reasonable precautions, there is a possibility that a card's condition may not improve, or in rare cases, may worsen as a result of restoration attempts. Cappy's Card Lab is not liable for any diminishment in condition, grade, or value that may result from attempted restoration.

4. No alteration or fraud facilitation. Cappy's Card Lab does not perform alterations as defined by professional grading companies, including trimming, ink addition, re-glossing, or any technique that changes the card's physical composition beyond cleaning and structural restoration. Cards worked on by Cappy's Card Lab must be disclosed as restored if submitted for grading or resale. Cappy's Card Lab is not liable for any consequences arising from a client's failure to disclose restoration work.

5. Valuation and loss. You are responsible for declaring an accurate estimated market value on this form. In the event of loss or damage in transit (inbound or return), Cappy's Card Lab's liability is limited to the lesser of the declared value or the actual documented market value at time of submission. We strongly recommend shipping insurance commensurate with your card values.

6. Non-refundable service fee. Once work has commenced on a card, service fees are non-refundable regardless of outcome. If a card is deemed unworkable before work begins, any pre-paid fee will be refunded less any applicable assessment or return shipping costs.

7. Turnaround time. Estimated turnaround times provided by Cappy's Card Lab are not guarantees. Actual processing time may vary depending on order volume, damage complexity, and external factors. We will communicate any significant delays.

8. Disputes. Any dispute arising from services rendered by Cappy's Card Lab shall first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication. By submitting this form you agree that disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of California, and you consent to jurisdiction in the courts of California.
